I talked about the coffee, the farmers and some of the issues they face do to geo-political factors and climate change.

World coffee research is working in the town of Yepocapa, and in farms across the globe to develop genetically diverse, disease and heat resistance coffee varietals. I was tasked with going to a few of those farms in Guatemala and photographing the research sites as well as taking portraits of the farmers responsible for the caring of these research plots. This day to day upkeep and reporting is the lifeblood of research being done in coffee diversity so I really wanted to show the faces of those that make it all happen.
